Matariki 2022
VINAKA! KA PAI! NGĀ MIHI NUI to both Wesley Primary and Wesley Intermediate students and staff for coming together to celebrate Matariki with our collective Hapori. Our kids showed their whānau and our wider community their amazing talents and passion for matariki this term. What a pleasure it was to host WIS and our manuhiri to celebrate a special Matariki together. I have a feeling this tradition will continue as it supports our collaboration across our two kura. We both have supportive board chairs Vaughan and Sione that encouraged us to make our matariki celebration possible. Secondly thankyou to the ICEBREAKER team led by Scott in preparing the kai, alongside Suchi, Ps Peter and Tili Leilua, Matua Hemi, Mr Pope and our volunteer parents as the hangi was incredible.
